I have decided to look back at what I created last year and, in a way, mimic the idea but change it to showcase my new skills, my better understanding of the horror genre and the audience and my skills in production and reflection. Last year my FMP was a trailer along with a campaign to promote the fictional horror film, I would like to revisit this this year and so need to look back at some of my work last year, I may also use some of my research and evaluations from last years project along side my primary research.

Through looking at some of my first blogs from last year it seems I had the intention on basing my work around the idea of phobias but from looking at my work I ended up focusing more on the paranormal, this year I would like to focus on the 7 deadly sins and their punishments (if I decide it is possibly to do so.) This way I feel it may be easier to understand what I am trying to get across with my work and understand the storyline a little better, which was all feedback I got from last year. Many people said they liked the visuals of my FMP last year but didn’t understand what the plot line or genre of my fictional piece was. I will write some more in depth blogs after my pitch so that I can explain my idea further and talk through my inspiration as well as start research, planning and reflecting on last years FMP.
